Fall is approaching rapidly, and the month of October is going to be a month full of epic releases. One of those releases is The Witcher 3. The Witcher is based on a series of novels and short stories written by Andrzej Sapkowski and is about a “Witcher” named Geralt of Rivia. This series was later adapted into the beloved video game series!
CD Projekt Red and Nintendo have teamed up to bring us The Witcher 3 to the Nintendo switch, which is being ported by Saber Interactive. This port will run at a smooth 720p when ported and at 540p when in handheld mode. This may sound like a drawback but is impressive when you consider the fact that you can now take one of the most demanding games in recent memory anywhere with you while playing on the go, all while maintaining thirty frames per second. This Nintendo port of The Witcher 3 is a complete edition so all the DLC is included with the package which sits at sixty dollars.
Unfortunately, there is one downside, which is that you can not carry over your save from a different system which was to be expected. However, if you buy a physical copy, you receive a physical map and there are no additional downloads when you have the cartridge! The Wither 3 comes out on October 15th and the four-year-old game looks set to impress.
