The last of us part 2 trailer dropped recently and everyone is excited for part two of this iconic title. The last of Us is a survival horror/action adventure stand out that is the proud winner of over two hundred game of the year awards. This title is set in an apocalyptic world with grueling monsters known as Freakers and sets the pace from the jump.

The last of Us part 2 is a sequel to the original title and follows Ellie, who is one of the main characters in the first game. We don’t know a whole lot about the story but we do know that this game is set five years after the events of the original game. We also know that Joel and Ellie have have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming and are living with a bunch of other survivors and everything seems at peace.

The trailer shows the large community at a party and everyone is seemingly having a good time. Ellie even has a love interest in a girl named Dina, who many speculate is killed in the trailer. After this unfortunate event, Ellie sets off down the path of revenge in the name of justice.

The last of Us is an iconic game with many awards and is an impressive title even though it was originally released on the PlayStation 3. I never played this game to the end, albeit I did watch a good friend of mine beat this masterpiece of a game. Being that survival horror is one of my favorite genres of video games, I am going to begin a series of walkthrough videos on this game. The first video will be up on Monday on my YouTube channel “Streysgamingvlog” and I will also post them on here. If you’re reading this, thank you so much for the support and as always, stay tuned for the next post!
